Salary: £15.00 - £16.00 PH which equates to £35,010 - £36,960 PA (incl. sleeps and on call allowance)
Hours: 162.50 hours per month; 7 sleeps, 3 on calls
Reports to: Registered Manager

We are currently seeking a Children’s Residential Home Team Leader (Lead Therapeutic Parent) for our Children’s Home in various locations with great career development opportunities.

For experienced Children’s Residential Team Leader who are qualified to level 3 in Children & Young People workforce, may have an opportunity to enrol into our Accelerated Registered Manager Programme.

Entry Requirements

  • Must have Level 3 in Residential in Children and Young People or equivalent.
  • Experience leading a team shift for 12 months
  • Working with Children in a residential setting for at least 2 years
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and promoting their welfare.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Willingness to undergo training and professional development.
  • DOLS experience
  • Experience in trauma informed model of care
  • Knowledge of the Children’s Home Regulations and Ofsted Requirements
  • Be confident and resilient
  • Computer literacy.
  • A driving licence.
